Int’l Congress of Muslim Women Intellectuals to Conclude Tonight
Closing ceremony of the 2nd International Congress of Muslim Women Intellectuals will be held tonight, April 27, with presence of Mahdi Mostafavi, president’s advisor, Marziyeh Vahid Dastjerdi, Health Minister, and A’zam Al-Sadat Farahi, president’s spouse, at ICRO. 

Besides Dr. Mostafavi, Ms. Dastjerdi and Farahi, there will be other lecturers namely, Ms. Laleh Eftekhari, Women's Affairs Advisor in World Assembly for Proximity of Schools of Thoughts and Ms. Faezeh ‘Azimzadeh, research deputy in Imam Sadeq (AS) University. 

The ceremony is to be chaired by Sediqeh Hejazi, Ma’soumeh Mohammadi, Faezeh Azimzadeh and Rampanahi. 

Organized by the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the international congress was held in cooperation with the World Assembly for Proximity of Schools of Thought, Center for Intellectual Training of Children and the Youth, General Office for Women Affairs of Tehran Municipality, Family Research Center of Shahid Beheshti University, Office for Women Researches and Studies, Iranian Media Research Center and Iran’s TV General Office for Research and Education. 

The three-day congress began on April 25 with presence of guests from 19 countries who investigated the lofty status of family in Islam and the effects of media on the institution of family.
